Bondage Could Be Good For You

Bondage Could Be Good For You

According to an article published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, S&M enthusiasts are less neurotic and healthier than those with a tamer sex life. It seems that if you enjoy a bit of bondage or S&M you will be psychologically healthier and happier than the majority of the population.

However, it's not of course that simple. You can't just go out tomorrow and indulge your fetish and suddenly be more mentally stable! It seems that those of us who do enjoy a bit of S&M are already more outgoing and less neurotic anyway. Apparently the more dominant role player is the most mentally healthy whilst the submissive are not less mentally healthy than the general population.

So it's a bit misleading to say that if you indulge in a bit of S&M you're going to be more mentally healthy. It seems that if you do enjoy and indulge those whims, you're more mentally healthy to start off with. In other words you're an extrovert, more confident and less neurotic to start with.

Now we could have probably told them all that without a lengthy survey. Sex is good for you and if you're a confident and out-going person who indulges your desires, providing you're doing it in a safe way, of course you're going to be happier and feel more fulfilled.

We're fast coming to the conclusion that if these universities or scientists or researchers want to know anything about how sex affects your life, they should just ask us and not bother with the months of surveys and expense of collating all the results, only to end up stating the obvious!
